Data & Performance

Metatex, Operational intelligence

Data that already existed, now daily decision material. No waiting for reports, no depending on IT.

Sector
Textile manufacturing
Period
2025 to 2026
Role
Data consolidation, dashboards, management rituals
Management dashboard with consolidated revenue, orders, margin, and EBIT
Product portfolio matrix with margin and growth analysis

Context

Metatex runs with data spread across production, commercial, finance, and stock. Each area had its own view, but leadership had no unified dashboard. Simple questions like how much a specific client bought this month, the stock position of a product, or the open receivables balance, turned into ad hoc requests for IT or external consultancies.

The problem

Leadership made decisions on late reports, or by gut feel. Every new question required someone to go into the ERP, extract data, and cross-reference in a spreadsheet. By the time the answer arrived, the context had shifted. Management meetings revolved around opinion, not data.

What we built

We built a data layer that consolidates what already lives in the ERP and across the company's operations, and delivers daily dashboards by area. Leadership opens one panel and sees stock, sales, production, and financial position, all in the same place. The commercial team sees its client portfolio. Finance sees open receivables. Without waiting on anyone.

Key capabilities

  • Automatic consolidation of ERP data and parallel sources
  • Daily dashboards by area: commercial, operations, finance
  • Near-real-time client portfolio and pipeline indicators
  • Unified stock view, including specific positions like tinturaria
  • Receivables and credit status alerts
  • Foundation ready to evolve management rituals with proprietary indicators

Outcomes

  • Leadership decides on fresh data every day
  • Routine questions stop turning into IT requests
  • Single view of the operation, in one place
  • Commercial team prioritizes based on data, not intuition
  • Management meetings shift from opinion to numbers
